Mercury is the name settled on by the universal translator after this being appeared in front of the away team during their visit to the copy of the Hanesawa within the Matroyshka Brain headed towards the Foggy Bottom system. Mercury was a two and a half meter tall humanoid, pale, naked, sexless, and nearly featureless except for two expressive human-like blue eyes and a well-formed mouth, and spoke in Federation Standard to welcome the crew.
