Ensign Deadman was a crewman on the Hanesawa.

During the Crisis on Cressida who piloted the evacuation shuttle hijacked by Klingons. He was freed from his restraints and then safely piloted the shuttle back to the ship.

He was a member of the away team visiting the strange copy of the Hanesawa during the Nest in the Dark mission. As part of a test of the crew he was trapped within an airtight bubble as they raced to solve a puzzle, releasing him with seconds to spare.
